2024‭ ‬was a special year in many ways for our continuously growing JOEST group‭.‬

To start‭, ‬we completed the largest acquisition in our company‘s history at the turn of the year with the purchase of the MOGENSEN Group and its locations in Germany‭, ‬Spain and Sweden‭.‬ The JOEST Group is also growing organically‭. ‬This year‭, ‬we made substantial investments in our site‭, ‬with the construction of a new administrative building and‭ ‬a new workshop for the stainless steel sector‭.‬

The year continued to bring excitement‭; ‬in May‭, ‬we began a generational transition at JOEST‭, ‬as Dr‭. ‬Hans Moormann stepped down from management after more than 20‭ ‬exceptionally successful years‭.‬ Despite these positive developments within the JOEST group‭, ‬economic uncertainty in Europe‭ ‬‮–‬‭ ‬and particularly in Germany‭ ‬‮–‬‭ ‬has reached a peak‭, ‬with political solutions still nowhere in sight‭.‬ While we have so far been spared major downturns‭, ‬the situation remains tense‭, ‬and we are doing everything we can to face the current challenges and position ourselves as strongly as possible‭.‬

Together with our dedicated employees‭, ‬we are looking towards the future with hope‭, ‬while remaining optimistic and not losing sight of our high standards of reliability and quality‭.‬
