JOEST stops all travel activities to China due to the Corona virus
The company from Duelmen currently relies on video conferences.
The corona virus which is spreading from China now also affects the Muensterland area in Germany. JOEST, which is a worldwide operating company with 10 subsidiaries worldwide, has put on hold all business trips to China and customer visits from China until further notice to protect its employees.
„The corona virus continues to spread. The health of our employees is our top priority.” says Dr. Hans Moormann, Managing Partner.
JOEST is currently focusing on video conferences, so important appointments can still take place. There is regular exchange, especially with the Chinese subsidiary, which is now carried out using modern technology. In some cases, this does not replace a personal meeting, but safety comes first.
