Lifting & Tipping

MUCKI Lifting-Tipping Devices

The MUCKI Lifting-Tipping Devices from JOEST are versatile two-column systems designed for the automated and safe emptying of a wide range of containers – from small bins to large bulk containers. Their particularly robust design and optimized tipping kinematics ensure precise material transfer even with high load capacities. Combined with a modular design and adaptable container pick-up, they are ideally suited for use in a wide variety of processing environments – making them our perfect all-rounder.

Optional features such as low-dust tipping or reduced drop heights allow the Lifting-Tipping Devices to be precisely tailored to specific requirements and material characteristics.

Whether it’s automated loading via AGV, manual loading using a pallet truck, or integration into conveyor systems – JOEST develops the right Lifting-Tipping solution for every task: ergonomic, durable, and process-reliable.

The MUCKI Lifting-Tipping Device from JOEST is designed for the automated lifting and controlled emptying of containers, bins, or special vessels in processing plants.
A specially engineered two-column structure lifts the container to be emptied via a safety pick-up system and raises it vertically to the desired tipping height. At the heart of the system is the proven, directly driven MUCKI tipping kinematics, which ensure smooth and powerful motion throughout the entire tipping cycle – with maximum stability and high repeat accuracy.

Depending on the application, the tipping angle can be adjusted variably – typically between 135° and 180° – allowing complete discharge of bulk materials. Tipping is performed by a powerful electromechanical drive unit, selected according to container weight, material characteristics, and operating environment.

Particular attention is given to the safe positioning and locking of the container, which is achieved using active or passive securing mechanisms. Additional options such as low-dust configurations, hopper attachments, or discharge flaps enable gentle and optimized material flow – even for sensitive bulk materials.

Control can be managed either by the customer’s system or a JOEST-provided solution. Communication with process control systems or feeding systems such as AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles), AMRs (Autonomous Mobile Robots), or other driverless transport systems is fully supported. Depending on the configuration, the entire operation can be implemented as fully automated, semi-automated, or manual.

Equipment Options

For optimal integration into your processes, MUCKI lifting-tipping devices offer a wide range of equipment options – flexibly configurable, process-oriented, and safe.

Depending on the version, the system can reliably lift and discharge both light containers and heavy bulk bins with loads of up to 3,000 kg.

The units can be configured for different discharge heights between 1,200 mm and 12,000 mm – from low bunker feeding to loading of high-level processing equipment.

Depending on product and process, fixed or adjustable tipping angles can be implemented – ensuring complete, precise emptying without residue.

Whether mesh boxes, containers, plastic or special bins – the pick-up system is precisely adapted to your container size and locking mechanism.

For dusty or sensitive materials, closed hoppers, covers, or transfer points can be integrated.

Controlled tilting or integrated damping systems ensure especially gentle and low-noise material discharge – tailored to the product.

The system can be operated via control panel, PLC, or integrated into higher-level control systems – optionally with AGV or sensor interface.

Process-reliable and user-friendly – optionally with interface connections for system automation.

The units can be integrated into existing lines – including conveyors, safety enclosures, or access protection in accordance with the Machinery Directive.

For hygiene-critical or potentially explosive environments, stainless steel versions and ATEX-certified configurations are available.
