Lifting & Tipping

MUCKI Tipping Devices

Our MUCKI tipping devices are directly driven systems designed for the safe and controlled emptying of containers at low to medium discharge heights. Thanks to their particularly robust design and modular construction, the tipping devices can be flexibly adapted to a wide range of process environments and container types.

Whether used for feeding conveyors, packaging systems, belt conveyors, or shredders – these tipping devices provide a reliable and ergonomic solution for container handling. Intelligent options such as container clamping or side loading also allow for the seamless integration of demanding automation concepts.

JOEST tipping devices are designed for the controlled emptying of containers at low to medium discharge heights.

The containers to be emptied are placed in a rugged load-handling attachment, where they are secured either actively or passively. Depending on the configuration, the tipping motion is driven by an electric or hydraulic system, which allows for stepless and precise control of the tipping angle – up to 180°.

Thanks to the flexible container interface, a wide range of container types can be handled – from mesh boxes and laundry carts to custom containers. The units can be loaded from the front or the side, and integration with AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles), AMRs (Autonomous Mobile Robots), or conveyor systems is also possible.

MUCKI tipping devices stand out for their compact design, high load capacity, and long service life. Optional features include drop height limitation, damped tipping motion, or the direct connection of downstream systems such as chutes, hoppers, or vibratory feeders. This makes them ideal for ergonomic and safe emptying across a broad range of industrial applications.

Fields of Application

JOEST tipping devices are ideal for the controlled, safe, and ergonomic emptying of a wide variety of containers – especially in applications involving medium to heavy loads or requiring precise tipping movements. Thanks to their rugged design and modular configuration, they offer versatile use across a broad range of industries.

Plastic regrind, metal scrap, used tire parts, fluff, shredder feeding, granulator feeding, container loading, chip handling

Aggregates, fiberglass handling

Low-dust tipping, powdery or free-flowing solids in drums or special containers, dryer feeding, rubber, natural rubber, EPS granulate

Melting furnace feeding, feeding of charging cars, aggregates

Feeding of washing centrifuges and deoiling centrifuges

Emptying of parcel containers

Feeding of dough kneaders, low-dust tipping, powdery or free-flowing solids, freeze-dried herbs

Tobacco

Feeding of cold and heat treatment systems, e.g. annealing basket or furnace belt systems

Feeding of surface treatment systems, e.g. galvanizing or phosphating lines

Emptying of octabins

Feeding of washing machines, use in industrial laundries

Individually configurable

Equipment Options

Thanks to their modular design and versatile configuration options, JOEST tipping devices can be precisely tailored to individual requirements and container systems.

Depending on the application, the tipping angle can be flexibly adjusted – from shallow discharge angles to full overhead emptying.

The loading direction can be flexibly adapted to suit system layout and space requirements – also compatible with AGV or conveyor technology.

Closed discharge systems such as funnels, chutes, or enclosures can be added as needed.

For sensitive products or noise-sensitive areas, the tipping motion can be dampened to reduce impact and material discharge.

Sensor-monitored locking and end-position control increase safety and automation potential during operation.

Certified stainless steel and explosion-proof variants are available for hygienically sensitive or hazardous environments.
